Million Pebble Beach is the nom de guerre of Portsmouth's singer-songwriter and pianist, Claire Baker.
Her songs have been described as whimsical wisdom, they are vividly imagined dream-like stories and journeys .
Her voice and musical style has been likened to Aldous Harding, Kate Bush, Björk, Regina Spektor, John Grant and Cate Le Bon.
RELEASES:
"Forest Finds" released in 2024, a collaboration with London Producer, Jo Atari.
"Find Me in the Forest", a stripped back album produced by Simon Gray, 26th November 2023, with a "Forest Imaginarium" to launch it.
"One Day We'll Go" - a 5 track EP Released in February 2023, accompanied by the video for "Witches"

Claire began performing solo as "Million Pebble Beach" in Portsmouth in 2018. Her career in the space industry, her love of the coast and of dreaming up impossibilities inspire her musical work. Claire's past musical adventures as a singer-songwriter, before moving back to her hometown, include fronting indie-pop band amanaboutadog, based in Hertfordshire and performing at Rhythms of the World Festival, Club 85, Bedford Esquires, The Bull & Gate, airplay on BBC Beds Herts & Bucks and a live session on Hertbeat Radio.
She had an absolute blast as lead singer of rock-pop band Monocle Rose, in London's iconic grassroots venues including The Dublin Castle, The Camden Eye, 12 Bar Club, The Borderline, The Kilburn Arms, 93 Feet East, The Fiddler's Elbow, releasing singles "Lolly" and "Alley Cat" in 2008, and an appearance on Camden's Balcony TV in 2009.
